Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. She died Wednesday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington. Born June 26, 1909, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charlie E. and Sara Francis Tyler Kennedy. She was a cook and nurses aide at the state hospital in Lexington. She was a member of St. Peter AME Church where she served as deacon and was a member of the senior choir and stewardess board. She organized the Pastor Friendship Club and prepared the latest history of the church. Survivors include a nephew, the Rev. James Foster Reese of Cherry Hill, N.J. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday at the church until time of service. Parks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ______________________________
