Kernodle November 11 1867 Boyle County KyArchives Deed Written: November 11 1867 Recorded: November 11 1867 Deed Book 10, page 256 For and in consideration of the Sum of One hundred and fifty dollars, twenty five of which is in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and the residue is to be paid on the 1st day of August 1868. W Geo. Kernoble and Margaret J. Kernoble have this day bargained and sold aliened & conveyed unto Willis Green McGinnis and W. H. McGinnis and their heirs and assigns forever. All that portion of land that decended to the said Kernoble as heir at law of Martha Ann McGinnis division of his Knob land supposed to be 22 acres. And also all the interest of said M. J. Kernoble as heir at law of Matha Ann McGinnis in Said Knob land Supposed to be about 30 acres be the same mor or less also the undivided interest of the Said M. J. Kernoble as heir at law of Mary McGinnis interest in the division of said Knob land. Supposed to be about 18 acres. And we bind ourselves to warrant the title to said land free from the claims of all persons. Witness our hands this 11th day of Nov 1867. H., Margaret, Martha and Mary. Also, please note that the correct spelling is Kernodle rather than Kernoble, as evidenced by marriage and census records.
