                       James Monroe Kestner

        James Monroe Kestner, 86, formerly of Evansville, died Friday in the
home of a daughter, Mrs. Everett Brown, Harrisburg, Illinois.
        Mr Kestner moved to Orlando, Fla, from Evansville 14 years ago.
        He operated a general store several years in Madisonville, Ky., and was
city constable in Hopkinsville, Ky., for several years.
        Surviving besides Mrs. Brown are: daughters, Mrs. Lee Peyton,
Harrisburg,
Mrs. Cora Walker,Hopkinsville, Mrs. Nettie Calkin, Detroit, Mich., Mrs
Luther Ray, Winter Park, Fla., and Mrs Isa Craig, Evansville; sons, Neal and
Jesse Kestner, Evansville, and several grandchildren.
        Funeral services will be Sunday morning in Harrisburg.  Burial will
be in Madisonville.

Name and date of paper unknown, however he was born 25 Sept 1851 and died 26
Nov 1937
