Kestner.James.Monroe.1937.Hopkins.OBIT James Monroe Kestner 1937 1937, paper unknown James Monroe Kestner James Monroe Kestner, 86, formerly of Evansville, died Friday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Everett Brown, Harrisburg, Illinois. Mr Kestner moved to Orlando, Fla, from Evansville 14 years ago. He operated a general store several years in Madisonville, Ky., and was city constable in Hopkinsville, Ky., for several years. Surviving besides Mrs. Brown are: daughters, Mrs. Lee Peyton, Harrisburg, Mrs. Cora Walker,Hopkinsville, Mrs. Nettie Calkin, Detroit, Mich., Mrs Luther Ray, Winter Park, Fla., and Mrs Isa Craig, Evansville; sons, Neal and Jesse Kestner, Evansville, and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday morning in Harrisburg. Burial will be in Madisonville.
