Samuel Franklin Keys was born on 8 April 1866 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky 
to Andrew Jackson Keys, Sr. (born in Virginia, or possibly Ohio) and Martha Ann 
Shaw (born in Indiana).  He married Nora Ellen Bunger (on 18 Nov 1896, Meade 
County, Kentucky?), and the couple had 6 children.  Mrs. Ellis Snawder, 
identified on the death certificate as the informant, is their daughter Louise 
Blanche Keys Snawder, who married John Ellis Snawder.  Nora Ellen Bunger had 
passed away just a few days prior to Samuel's death, on 16 February 1944, at 
the Norton Infirmary, Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.
