        Funeral for Horace Wayne Kirkwood of White Plains Rt. 1 was 
1:30 p.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Cumberland Prebyterian Church. The Rev. 
Martin Rudolph officiating, and burial followed at the church cemtery.
Kirkwood, a farmer near White Plains, died May 31 at Hopkins County
Hospital. He was 69.
        He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Cumberland Prebyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Ada Kirkwood, White Plains Rt. 1;
four sons, Norris Kirkwood, Jerry Kirkwood, Bernice Kirkwood, and Gary
Kirkwood, all of White Plains; two brothers Rudolph Kirkwood, Earlington
and Fred Kirkwood, Madisonville; a sister Katherine Shaffer, Birmingham,
Ala.; and eight grandchildren.
