He was born December 1, 1938 in Redbird, KY the son of the late Williams Clinton and Effie Martin Knuckles. Wayne was a graduate of Redbird High School and attended Cumberland College and LMU. He was a retired coal miner and attended Faith Temple Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth and Eugene Knuckles, parents-in-law, Everett and Hattie Baker and brother-in-law, Allen Baker. Survivors include his wife of forty-three years, Billie Jean Baker Knuckles, sons, David of Shelbyville, KY, Kevin and Shari of Pineville; Greg and Twana of Harlan and Jeff of Richmond; grandchildren, Mitchell, Sarah, Matthew, Victoria, Alexandria, Sophia, Kristen, Kaitlyn and Joshua; brother, George Matt Knuckles of Arizona and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Services were Saturday at Faith Temple Church with Pastor Matthew Robbins. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Arrangements were by Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
