Mrs. Grace DeWitt Lane, 87, of Louisville, died Sunday, January 13, 2002 at 
Norton Suburban Hospital, Louisville.  Mrs. Lane was a native of Cloverport, 
the daughter of the late Arch DeWitt and Doss Pate.  She was a retired sales 
clerk at the old Stewart's Department Store, a resident of Rockford Manor 
Nursing Home and a member of the Ashby Lane Alliance Church.  Her husband, 
Ernest Ira Lane Sr., two daughters, Joyce Oakley and Donna Mooneyhan, and a 
sister, Ressie Richards, preceded her in death. 
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon McGrew; two sons, Ernest Ira Lane Jr. and 
Kenneth Ray Lane; a brother, Chester DeWitt, and a sister, Lillian Roberts of 
Cloverport. 
The funeral was held Tuesday, Janary 15, at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 
Louisville.  Burial and graveside service was held Tuesday at Cloverport 
Cemetery.
