Latimer July 27 1859 Boyle County KyArchives Deed Written: July 27 1859 Recorded: August 4 1859 Deed Book 7, page 256 This Indenture of bargain and sale, made and entered into this 27th day of July 1859, between Wm. D. Latimer and Mary E. Latimer his wife, of the County of Boyle and State of Kentucky of the first part, and H. S. McGinnis of the County of Boyle and State of Kentucky of the second part. Witnesseth That for and in consideration of the sum of Seven Hundred Dollars, paid and secured to be paid by the said H. S. McGinnis, the said W. D. Latimer and Mary E. Latimer, doth hereby sell, alien, and convey unto the said H. S. McGinnis, his heirs, &c., the following described property, to wit. One House and Lot situated in the Town of Perryville, Boyle County, Kentucky, and known as Lot No. One in the plat of said Town, and originally owned by George Beswick, deceased, containing One half acre, be the same, more or less. To have and to hold said property, as described above, unto the said H. S. McGinnis and his heirs &c., forever. And the said W. D. Latimer & Mary E. Latimer, his wife, will forever warrant and defend the title to the property hereby conveyed unto the said H. S. McGinnis and his heirs, &c., against the claims of all persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof the said W. D. Latimer and Mary E. Latimer, his wife, have hereunto set their hands, this the day and year aforesaid. W. D. Latimer (Seal) Mary E. Latimer, as appears from an endorsement on said Deed in the highest[crossed out] hand-writing of my said Deputy and in words and figures as follows, to-wit: "1859, July 26th Acknowledged before me by W. D. Latimer and Mary E. Latimer his wife, in due form of law. Att: Jas. F. Zimmerman Clk, by J. B. H. Latimer, D.C." And said Deed, with this certificate hath been duly recorded in my office.
