BENNETT LAWLESS DIED JUNE 7
Bennett C. Lawlwss, Bethelridge was born January 19,1883 and died June 7, 1948 
He was 65 years 4 months and 29 days old.He was married to Zona Salyers 
April 4, 1907 and to to this union was born six children; two of which died in 
infancy.  Angelettie died at nineteen. Those surviving are Junis E., William 
Ernest, and Mary G. all of Gilpin.He has two grandchildren.He was converted 
in his boyhood days and united with the baptist church at Valley Oak, of which 
he remained a member all his life.  He was known as a hardworking man and spent 
most of his time at home with his wife and children.  Those left to mourn his 
passing are his widow and three chidren, three brothers James, J.B. and Ira, 
three sisters Ellen, Mary and Easter, and a host of friends.  Earth hasd lost 
a good man, but Heaven has gained.
