LOLA MAE LAWSON
 
Lola Mae Lawson, 92, Sturgis, died 12:10pm Wed. Aug. 12, at Shemwell
Nursing Home in Providence.
 
Mrs. Lawson, born in 1906 in Union County to Zilpha Mayne Omer and Riley
Daniel Smith, was a member of the Sturgis Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was also a cafeteria worker at the Sturgis School.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lawson, who died in 1973.
 
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Jane Henshaw and Helen Marlene
Waterhouse, both of Clarksville, TN; one son, William Leroy Lawson of Clay;
two grandchildren, Gloria Henshaw and Leilani King, both of Clarksville,
TN; and one great grandchild, Leslie King of Clarksville, TN.
 
Services were held Saturday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis with Rev.
Bert Owen officiating. Burial was in the Pythian Ridge Cemetery, Sturgis.
