DEED: Fanning to Leach, Mortgage, 1831, Montgomery Co Montgomery Co., KY Deed Book 15, pg. 181-182 Fanning To } Mortgage Leach Examined Know all men by these presents that I John Fanning do hereby Mortgage to John Leach one bay stud horse by the name of Coochman it being the horse I purchasted of said Leach this Mortgage is to secure the ballance of the price which I give for him which is ninety dollars to be paid on or before the 25th day of December 1831 at which time if said $90 is paid then in that Case, this Mortgage is to be void and of No afect otherwise to Remain in full force and virtue and to be liable for the payment of said $90.
