DEED: James Leach to John Leach, Mortgage, 1834, Bath Co Bath Co., KY Deed Book I Page 386 Leach James To } Mortgage Leach John Know all men by these presents that I James Leach do hereby mortgage unto John Leach two work stears piden? one brown and white with a Slope Crop off the left ear the other Red and white with a Slope Crop off the left ear this Mortgage is to Secure the payment of forty dollars which I bought of Said John Leach in a note on John Shultz the said forty dollars is to be paid on or before the 25th day of December next at which time if Said forty Dollars is paid then in that Case this mortgage is to be void and of no effect otherwise to remain in full force and virtue and to be liable for the payment of the said $40 in witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 4th day of Febuary 1834 att Meredith Leach James Leach Seal Elias Leach Bath County } sct.
