Know all men by these presents that we James Lee and John Cloyd are held and
firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the just and full sum of
50 pounds current money to which payment will and truly to be made we bind
ourselves our heirs ____ ____ by these presents sealed and dated this 18th
day of July 1825.

The condition of the above Obligation is such that whereas there is a
marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized between the above bound
James Lee and Naomia Cloyd both of Madison County if there be no lawful
cause to obstruct the same Then this Obligation to be void Else to remain in
full force and virtue.
