This Indenture made this sixth day of August Anno Domini one thousand eight
hundred and ten between Richard Lee of the County of Madison of the one part
and William Wilkerson on the other part.  Witnesseth that the said Richard
Lee for the consideration of six hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the
said William Wilkerson the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath
bargained sold aliened granted and confirmed unto the said William Wilkerson
and by these Presents doth bargain sell grant alien and confirm unto the
said William Wilkerson a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Madison
County on the waters of the walnut meadow fork a branch of paint Lick creek
Containing one hundred and twelve acres and bounded as follows.  To wit,
Beginning at a box elder ash and black walnut thence east one hundred and
twenty six poles to an elm and hickory thence South Two hundred and twenty
poles to two black oaks thence west eighty six poles to a Sugar tree thence
North five degrees east fifteen poles to a hoopwood corner to Edward
Stephenson thence with Stephensons line North eighty five degrees west fifty
three poles to a hickory and white oak and two buckeyes thence down the
branch as it meanders binding on William Titus line to the Beginning.  To
have and to hold the aforesaid tract of land together with its appurtenances
to the said William Wilkerson and his heirs forever and the said Richard Lee
will forever warrant and defent the aforesaid tract of land together with
its appurtenances to the same William Wilkerson and his heirs from the claim
of the said and from all other persons whatever.  In testimony whereof the
said Richard Lee hath hereunto set his hand and seal this date above written.

            I do hereby certify that this Indenture was produced to me as clerk of
the Court for the county aforesaid on the 6 day of August 1810 which was
acknowledge by the said Richard Lee and Elizabeth his wife to be their acts
and deed having privately examined her the said Elizabeth as the law directs
she relinquished her right of dower to the within mentioned tract of land
the the same has been duly recorded in my office.
