He was fifteen years of age. He was not a member of any church, but left many bright evidences behind saying his sins had been forgiven and he was going to Heaven. He called each one of the family to the bedside and asked them to meet him in Heaven, and then he put his weak arms around their necks and kissed them good-bye. He leaves a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Leonard, sisters, brothers and a host of other relatives and a large number of friends to mourn his loss. His funeral was preached the following day by Rev. E. W. Sommers of Cardwell, after which his remains were laid to rest in Bruner’s Chapel cemetery to await the final judgment day.
