Douglas "Pete" Lewis, 54, Smith Mills died at 9:08 pm Tuesday, at St.
Mary's Medical Cetner in Evansville.

He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Uniontown, and he was also
a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors inlucd his wife of 36 years, Donna; one daughter, Leigh Ann
Hooper of Smith Mills; one son, Joseph :Petey" Lewis of Smith Mills; three
sisters,  Patsy Eblen of Dixon, Martha Turley of Smith Mills, and Anna E.
Parish of Sturgis; two brothers, Alan Lewis of Uniontown, and John Lewis of
Smith Mills; and four grandchildren.

Services were at 10am Saturday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. The
Rev. Andy Ausenbaugh officiated. Burial was in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.
