Daughter of the late Carlize Davis Hampton and Shad Hampton Family moved to 
Barstow CA whee she attended Waterman Elementary and Barstow High School.
Worked as a sales representative. Joined the Old Rocky Hill Baptist Church at 
an early age and served as "First Lady" at Woodsonville Baptist Church until 
her health failed her.
Survivors:
Son: Mitchell Lewis Jr and wife Wendy of Columbus OH
Stepson: Clinton Britt and wife Katherine of Nashville TN
Stepdaughter: Marie Barbie and husband David of Bowling Green KY Three
grandchildren: Justin Hampton, Javaughn Hampton and Jessica Diggs of Columbus
Step-granddaughter: Lasandra Jackson and husband Ruben of Nashville TN Three
sisters: Betty Jean Jackson, Sara Moore and Betty Rose Moon, all of Barstow CA 
Two brothers: Ronnie and Richard Hampton, both of Barstow Host of cousins, 
nieces, nephews and other family. Preceded in death also by:
Husband: Rev. Mitchell Lewis Sr
Brother: Roy Hampton
Sister: Baby Queen Branch
Services: Sunday, 2 Jan 2005, Old Rocky Hill Baptist Church under directions of 
Watts Funeral Home, burial church cemetery.
