KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENT that we James Dunn & Richard Percefull are hold 
and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the just and full sum 
of fifty pounds United States' currency, for which payment well and truly to 
be made and done, we bind ourselves, our heirs, &c. jointly and 
severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 24th 
day of July 1834.

The condition of the above Obligation is such, that if there should be no 
legal cause to obstruct a MARRIAGE shortly to be solemnized between the above 
bound James Dunn and Elizabeth Logsdon
for which a license this day issued, then the above obligation to be void, 
else to remain in full force and virtue in law.

Hardin County
To any authorized Minister of the Gospel, or authorized Magistrate.
These are to license and permit you to join together in the honorable estate 
of MATRIMONY, according to the rules and customs of the Church of which you 
are reputed a member, Mr. James Dunn and Elizabeth Logsdon, both of lawful age
(the said Elizabeth Logsdon proven to be of age by the oath of Richard 
Percefull), he, the said James Dunn,having given bond and security ,in my office, 
according to law. Given under my hand as Clerk of the County Court, for the 
county aforesaid, the 24th day of July 1834 and in the 43rd year of the 
Commonwealth.

Additional Comments:
James Dunn was the s/o John & Mary "Polly" ? Dunn. Elizabeth "Bitsie" Barrett 
was her maiden name. Her first marriage was to Lewis Logsdon on 3 May 1831 in 
Hardin Co.KY. In later years, James & Elizabeth moved their family to Grayson 
Co. Kentucky.
