Know all men by these presents that I William LOGSDON of Logan County and 
state of Kentucky for the sum of two hundred and thirty pounds Current money 
to me in hand paid have bargained and sold unto Joseph KENSINGER five horse 
creatures marked as follows towit two sorrel mares two brown mares and one 
brown Horse being all the Horse Creatures that I own twenty five head of ____ 
Cattle amongst which are about ten Cows and the rest young Cattle it being all 
the Cattle I own Except two Cows) Six head of sheep three feather beds and 
beding together with all and singular my House hold furniture and all my 
farming utensials of every kind pots kettles and bas____ of sea____ ___ To 
have and to hold the aforesaid property of Each and Every kind all and 
singular thereof unto the said Joseph KENSINGER his Heirs and assigns forever 
and the said William LOGSDON do covenant and for ever defend the aforesaid 
property unto the said Joseph his Heirs and assigns in witness whereof I have 
set my han
d and seal to this Indenture of sale this 25th day of February 1796

At a Court held for Hardin County on Tuesday 22 day of March 1796 the 
foregoing Bill of sale from William LOGSDON to Joseph Kensiner was proved by 
the oath of John PAUL one of the subscribing withnesses thereto and was 
ordered to be Recorded
