Katherine Merriman Logue, 81, of Stanford House Nursing Home, Stanford, 
died Friday at Stanford House.

Born June 29, 1921, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late 
Thomas and Amanada Merriman. She was the widow of James A. Logue. She 
was a retired employee of Palm Beach Co., a former employee of Mercer 
Dress Co., a provider of private duty nursing care, a member of the 
Danville-Boyle County Senior Citizens Center and a member of Harrodsburg 
Community Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie A. Talley of Danville; a brother, 
James Merriman of Middletown, Ohio; five grandchildren; and eight great-
grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the 
Revs. Billy Brown, Terry Morrison and Everett Priddy. Burial will be 
in Bellevue Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be James M. Teague, Troy A. Teague, Joshua D. 
Wilcher, Gerald Merriman, Greg Crabtree and Matt East. Honorary 
pallbearers will be Dr. Bacon Moore, Dr. Narendra James, staff of 
Stanford House Nursing Home and staff and members of Danville-Boyle 
County Senior Citizens Center.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday.
