"Gabriel Long, who was about seventy-seven years of age, died suddenly the 30th 
inst., while sitting in his chair at home talking with a friend. Mr. Long had 
been, seemingly, in good health. He was a brother of your townsman, Mr. G. 
Long. Uncle Gabe had been a consistent member of the Fountain Run Baptist 
Church for several years, and leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his 
loss."
