MRS. LUCAS LAID TO REST
Mrs. Myra Bell Lucas age 66 years, passed away at her home Thursday morning May 20th.  She had been in declining health the past few years, but death came suddenly and was a shock to the loved ones and friends.  She was a devoted mother and loved by all who knew her.  She had spent her entire life near Middleburg, and united with the Middleburg Baptist Chrch early in life.  
Previous to her marriage to Mr. Luther Lucas, who survives here, she was Miss Myra Bell Delk. Also surviving are her nine children, Miss Martha Lucas , who made her home with her parents,Mrs. Bertha Lucas,Mrs. Effie Ludas,Mrs. Ada Carrier, Mrs. Mary Presley,Frank, Reid, Edsel and Joseph all of Indianapolis,
38 grandchildren,25 great grandchildren, two brothers, Milford Delk of Indian Creek and Silas Delk of Mckinney.  Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at 2:30 by Rev. K.G. Martin and Rev. McCord at the Middleburg Baptist Church.  Burial was in the Middleburg Cemetery.
