He was united in marriage to Alice Minerva Blissitt Jan. 29, 1890. To this union seven children were born. His wife and three children preceded him in death many years ago. Mrs. Lura (should be Leura) Allgood, of Guston;Mrs. Dora Whitworth of Indianapolis Ind., Rufus and Luther Lynch are the surviving children. He is also survived by two stephildren, Rev. Wesley Harrington of Custer and Mrs. Minnie Hardaway, of Brandenburg;thirty-seven grandchildren and twenty-three great, great grandchildren, and one great, great, grandchild and a host of relatives and friends. He professed faith in Christ early in life. He was a good neighbor and was liked by all who knew him. Funeral services were helod Thursday afternoon with Rev. V. K. Lafon officiating and burial was in the Bennett cemetery with the Masonic rites by Custer lodge.
