Additional Comments:
Thomas was a Civil War veteran, and believed to have contracted TB while 
fighting in the Battle of Nashville.  He died one month to the day after his 
only surviving son was born.

Thomas is the grandson of Nancy Hanks Hall (who married Levi Hall), the aunt to 
Nancy Hanks Lincoln (mother of President Abraham Lincoln).
