Parrish her husband of Manitou, Hopkins County, Kentucky, Route No. 1, Mollie Cates and J. W. Cates her husband of Madisonville, Hopkins County, Kentucky, Route No. 2, L. w. Madison and Bell Madison his wife of Madisonville, Hopkins County, Kentucky Route No. 4, Cora Bumpass and D. F. Bumpass her husband of Beebe, Arkansas, Sallie Powell and Lazaras Powell her husband of Nortonvi:lle, Hopkins County, Kentucky, Lalla Grant and L.M. Grant her husband of Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, Gene D. Madison and Pauline Madison his wife of Hanson, Hopkins County, Kentucky, Route No. 1, Raymond T. Madison and Olwen Lorane Madison his wire of Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, of the first part, and Elma Frances Parrish of Manitou, Hopkins County, Kentucky, Route No. 1, of the second part, WITNESSETH:- That for and in consideration of the sum or One Hundred Sixty Five and No/100 Dollars cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties of the first part, do hereby sell, grant and convey to the party of the second part her heirs and assigns, the following described property, viz: One certain tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being on the waters of Deer Creek, in Hopkins County, Ky., and bounded as follows: Beginning at a stone John Parrish corner, also corner to W.J. Thomas; running S. 84 1/2 E. 24 poles to the middle of the road with meanders of said road N.7 1/2 E. l4 poles, N.7 1/2 W._7 2/5 poles, N.11 1/2 E. 32 poles, N.71 E. 21 1/2 poles, N.33 1/2 E.12 poles, N.5 W. 9 poles, to a stone in the center of said road in line of J. A. Oakley; thence with said Oakleys line N. 64 1/2 W. 60 poles to a poplar stump or stone John Parrish corner; thence with said Parrish line 99 poles to the beginning, containing 25 acres more or less, Except 20 foot road. And is the same property conveyed to John Madison by E.J. Roberts and wife Nannie Roberts, by deed dated December 28,1911, of record in Deed Book No. 88 page 496,Hopkins County Court Clerks Office. And same inherited, by Lucy Parrish, Mollie Cates, L. W. Madison, Cora Bumpass, Sallie Powell, Lillie Grant, Eugene Madison and Tim Madison, as heirs if (sic) John Madison deceased. See affidavit hereto attached. To have and to hold the above described property with all the appurtenances there on, to the party or the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, with covenant of General Warranty.
