Affidavit, John W MADISON Heirs - Hopkins Co

This is the affidavit that went with the MADISON heirs deed posted
earlier.

County of Hopkins
 On this 30 day of November 1935, before me a notary public in and for
said county and state personally appeared L. W. Madison to me personally
known, who being first duly sworn by me in oath disposes and says he is
familiar with the family history of John Madison, deceased, who died on
the 3rd day of may 1932 intestate in Hopkins County, Kentucky, the owner
of a certain tract of land in Hopkins county on the waters of Deer Creek
containing 25 acres more or less conveyed to John Madison by E J Roberts
and wife Nannie Roberts by deed dated Dec 28, 1911 of record in deed
book 88, page 494-5 Hopkins County Clerk's Office.
 That said descendant died leaving surviving him Elizabeth Madison, his
widow, and the following named persons as his sole and only heirs.
 Lucy Parrish, a daughter, whose husband is J. T. Parrish of Manitou, RT
1, who owns a 1/6 undivided interest in above land.
 Mollie Cates, a daughter, whose husband is J. W. Cates of Madisonville
RT 2, who owns 1/6 undivided interest in above land.
 L. W. Madison, a son, whose wife is Bell Madison of Madisonville RT 4,
who owns 1/6 undivided interest in above land.
 Cora Bumpass, a daughter, whose husband is D. F. Bumpass  of Beebe,
Arkansas, who owns 1/6 undivided interest in above land.
 Sallie Powell, a daughter, whose husband is Lazarus Powell of
Nortonville, KY, who owns 1/6 undivided interest in above land.
 Lalla Grant, a granddaughter, whose husband is L. M. Grant of  Memphis,
TN, who owns 1/3 of 1/6 undivided interest in above land.
  Gene D Madison, a grandson, whose wife is pauline Madison of  Hanson,
KY RT 1, who owns 1/3 of 1/6 undivided interest in above land.
 Raymond T. Madison, a grandson, whose wife is Olwen Lorane Madison of
Memphis, TN, who owns 1/3 of 1/6 undivided interest in above land.
 That all of the above persons are over the age of 21 years except the
following:
 Gene D. Madison who was born the 6th day of June 1915, now 19 years of
old and Pauline Madison his wife who was born on the 20th day of May
1916, now 18 years old.
 Olwen Lorane Madison, wife of Raymond T. Madison who is now 20 years
old.
 The affiant further states that Elizabeth Madison, widow of John
Madison, deceased, died, intestate in Hopkins County, KY on the 5th day
of January 1933.
