Glasgow (KY) Daily Times, 13 May 1896
"Mrs. Patsy Mansfield died at her home some four miles from town, in the 
Bristletown settlement, last Wednesday evening. Mrs. Mansfield was in the 
seventy-sixth year of her age at the time of her death. She was one of the best 
and most universally beloved ladies of the section in which she lived. The 
remains were buried near her old homestead Thursday afternoon."
