Undated Glasgow Times newspaper
"THE DEATH OF MR. T. E. MANSFIELD, TUESDAY. Mr. T. E. Mansfield, aged 77 years, died at his home near Bristletown last Monday morning at seven o'clock. Death was caused by heart failure.

"He is survived by his wife and a number of near relatives.

"Burial as yesterday in the Mansfield burying ground at the home place.

"Mr. Mansfield was a splendid citizen and a high type of man. He had esteem of all who knew him, and the news of his death brought sorry to many."
