"MRS. J. R. MARRS DEAD. Mrs. J. R. Marrs died at her home at Mannsville, Ky., last Monday at 5 o'clock in the afternoon, after an illness of two weeks. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was in her forty-fourth year. "Before her marriage she was Miss Lela Powell. "Mrs. Marrs was twice married, her first married being to a Mr. Jackson, who lived only a short while. Her second marriage was to Rev.J. R. Marrs, who survives her, together with four daughters and two sons; also three sisters, Mrs. J. S. Perkins, Mrs. A. B. Nuckols and Miss Vic Powell, and one brother, Mrs. Charlie Powell, all of this city. "The remains will arrive to-day at noon, and after short services at the grave by Rev. Harwood, will be laid to rest in the Glasgow cemetery. "Mrs. Marrs had many friends all over the county who will learn of her death with sorrow."
