MALINDA "LINDA" RUTH BIRD MARRS
 
    Mrs. Malinda "Linda" Ruth Bird Marrs, 76, of 2682 Ridge Road, Hartwell, 
Ga., died Sunday, March 2, 2003 at her home.
    Born in Pineville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Robert and 
Martha Engle Bird.  She was a retired Paraprofessional with Charlton County 
School System, Folkston, Ga.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, 
Folkston, Ga.
    She is survived by : Husband: Gordon B. Marrs Jr., Daughters: Martha Paulk 
and her husband, Ronald, of Waycross, Ga., Patty McKettrick and her husband, 
Mark of Snellville, Ga., brothers: Robert Bird of Pineville, Kentucky and 
Frank Bird of Pineville, Kentucky, Four grandchildren: Natalie Paulk, Chad 
Paulk, Maggie McKettrick and Ben McKetterick.
    Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at the Chapel of 
the Strickland Funeral Home.  Rev. Ted Kelly will officiate.
    Burial followed in the Milltown Baptist Church Cemetery.
    Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
