McGinnis - Et al Martin December 7, 1878 Warren County KyArchives Deed Written: December 7, 1878 Recorded: December 30, 1878 Warren County, Kentucky Deed Book 49, pages 377-378 This deed witnesseth that we Mary Martin, George W. Miller and Susan D. Miller of the County of Warren and State of Ky. for and in consideration of the Sum of eighty $80.00 dollars to us in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, doth this day bargain Sell convey and deliver to H. J. McGinnis of the Same County and State, a certain tract or parcel of land in Said County and State, near big barren river know as the land once owned by Gipson Martin and bounded as follows. Beginning at two white oaks at the intersection of a line of P. D. Hamton Ellis survey with the line of James Heards Survey thence with said Hamton's line W 38 E 42 poles to an ash and oak thence with another of his lines N 56 W 48 poles to a black ash and three small post oaks on W. L. Underwoods line, thence with his line N 62 E 132 poles to a spanish oak White Oak & poplar his corner thence S 11 W with James Heards line 98 poles to a white oak his corner and another of his lines, thence with the line of Said Heards last mentioned Survey S 73-1/2 W 24 poles to another ash his corner thence with another of his lines S 10 E 20 poles to two Beechs and a hickory his corner thence with another of his lines W 89-1/2 N 64 poles to the Beginning Containing 46 acres more or less. To have and to hold the Same together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said H. J. McGinnis his heirs and assigns forever and we hereby bind ourselves heirs and assigns to warrant and defend the land herein conveyed with full covenant of General warrantee of title.
