Vernon Eugene Martin, wassborn September 18, 1916, near Grays, Knox County, Kentucky to David Rad Martin and Nannette Serena Walters.

This photo was taken around July 13, 1963. Vernon Eugene Martin, and his sole son, Ian Martin, circa 1963, at the Martin home, Villa Carmen, on Ramon y Cajals Avenue, Chipiona, Cádiz, Spain. 

Villa Carmen was a spacious yet simple villa with several outdoor patios full of Canaries and flora, pools, and fountains, and within walking distance of wonderful beaches, near Spain's tallest lighthouse.
