Vernon's mother's name was incorrectly registered as Nan Sewell.  His mother 
was Nannette Serena Walters,born October 12, 1898, daughter of Parks B. Walter 
& Claredina Callie" Sewell.  

Vernon fathers was David Reed Martin, born December 15, 1893, son of John 
Dalton Martin & Lucy Frances Johnson.

The name Vernon M. Striebel was ordered stricken out by Judge Dennis Graves, 
on Janury 25, 2008 since Vernon's legal name at the time of his death was 
Vernon Eugene Martin.  A copy of the decree may be purchased at: Court 
Records, Marion County Circuit Court, P.O. Box 12869, Salem, OR 97309.
