Mrs. J. Bernard Mattingly, 89, of 4032 Chevoit Drive, died Saturday at her 
home. She was the former Elsie Jane Mullins, a native of Marion County.

Survivors besides her husband include a daughter, Mrs. Beulah M. Barr of 
Buckner; three sons, Joseph E. Mattingly of Kansas City, Mo., James B. and 
Charles F. Mattingly; 16 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. 

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic 
Church in LaGrange, with burial in Valley of Rest Cemetery there. Visitation 
at Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange will be after 4 p.m. Sunday.
