J. Bernard Mattingly, 89, of Chevoit Drive, died Wednesday at his home. He was a native of Marion County, a retired farmer and a member of St. Helen Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons, Joseph E. Mattingly of Kansas City, Mo., Charles F. Mattingly of Jeffersontown and James B. Mattingly; a daughter, Mrs. Beulah M. Barr; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in LaGrange, with burial in Valley of Rest Cemetery there. Visitation is at Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange.
