From: KyArchives [Archives@genrecords.org] Sent: Tuesday, November 30, 2004 7:42 AM To: Ky-Footsteps Subject: Maxwell.Dillard-and-Henry.Jack.1957.Mccreary.OBIT Dillard & Henry Jack Maxwell September 15 1957 Mccreary County KyArchives Obituaries McCreary County Record, McCreary County, Kentucky Tuesday, September 24, 1957, McCreary County Record: The remains of Dillard Maxwell, 35, and Henry Jack Maxwell, 31, brothers, killed in an automobile accident Sunday, September 15, two miles North of Falmouth, Ky., on Highway 27, were brought here Monday by Hickman Funeral Home ambulance and taken to the home of Walter Wilson on Tunnel Ridge awaiting burial./ The Maxwell brothers were sons of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Maxwell, former resident of McCreary County now living at 1416 Mansfield Street, Cincinnati. Before moving to Cincinnati they were employed in the Stearns Mines./ Dillard, a truck driver, and Henry Jack, a factory worker, were on vacation and were coming here, traveling in a pick-up truck on a hunting trip when the accident occured./ Dillard is survived by four children, Donnie, Dillard, Jr., Diane and Darlene, all living at Hill Top./ Henry Jack is survived by his wife, Lora Wilson Maxwell, and two children, Phyllis and Carlos, all living at 1226 Greenup Street, Covington./ Other survivors are their parents, three brothers and four sisters./ Funeral services were conducted from the Wilson Ridge Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Roy Lewis officiating. Burial was in the Wilson Ridge Cemetery.
