McClure August 30, 1934 Morgan-Bourbon-Montgomery County KyArchives Obituaries newspaper Paris, Ky., Aug 30- Dr. P.L. McClure, 62 years old, widely-known Bourbon county physician died at 8 o'clock this morning at the Massie Memorial Hospital here after a few weeks illness. Dr. McClure was a native of Morgan County, and moved to this county a short time after he was graduated from the Louisville Medical College. He resided on the Levy Road, near Little Rock, and was engaged in a wide medical practive in that vicinity. Members of his family have been engaged in the practice of medicine for more that 100 years, his father and two grandfathers all being doctors. He was a prominent Mason, being a member of Hope Lodge No. 244, F. & A.M. He is survived by his wife. Mrs. Mary Boardman McClure; two sons, O.W. McClure, Memphis Tenn., and Leslie McClure, Alaska; a daughter Miss Nancy McClure, Little Rock; his father Dr. B.F. McClure, Little Rock; and a brother, Matthew McClure, New Albany, Ind., and Three sisters, Mrs. Assie Carter, Campbell City; Mrs. J. Likens, Hazard, P. Haney, Jackson and Mrs. Wheeler.
