It was reported she had never regained consciousness. She had been seriously ill for about a year. Born Oct. 28, 1890, Mrs. McConaha was a daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Bailey Briscoe of Boyle County and had lived practically all her life in the Parksville area. She was a member of Parksville Christian Church. Other survivors in addition to the brother are a son Harold McConaha, Parksville; another brother Bailey Briscoe, also of Parksville; a grandson Johnny McConaha, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Coyle Funeral Home in Perryville by Julius Hovan, minister of Parksville Christian Church, assisted by the Rev. W.G. Crossfield, paster of Mitchellsburg Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Parksville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marvin Briscoe, Mitchell Briscoe, William Briscoe and Lawrence Briscoe, Ralph Pierce and Joe Matherly. The body is at the funeral home. A few days later another article ran in the paper "McConaha Funeral" Among those here for the funeral of Mrs. Sallie Briscoe McConaha at Coyle Funeral Home, Perryville, on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Morris of Lousiville, Mrs Jerry Briscoe of Frankfort, Lawrence and William Briscoe of Anderson County, Mr and Mrs Ray Moore of Hustonville, Robert, Jackson and Lynn Lewis of Jefferson County and Mrs. Glynn Peavler of Mercer County.
