She was the former Miss Minnie BROCK, daughter of the late Wesley and Georgia BROWN BROCK. She married December 23, 1896 to James McCOY, and to this union three sons and two daughters were born. Her husband and two sons preceded her in death. Mrs. McCOY was a member of the Ephesus Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Missionary Auxiliary of which she served as President many years. After moving to Cloverport, she was also a member of the Women's Society of Christian Services. She is survived by: one son: Herschel McCOY of Hardinsburg, Ky two daughters: Miss Nora McCOY of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County) Mrs. Herbert (Ethel) UTHOFF of Cleveland, Ohio (Cuyahoga County) 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren one brother: C.C. Breckinridge County Herald-News, Friday, September 1, 1961 CORRECTION: In listing a surviving sister of Mrs. Minnie McCOY last week, the name should have read: Mrs. Frankie SMITH of Irvington, Ky, instead of Mrs. Franklin SMITH.
