McCoy.Urial.1874.Grant.WILL Will of Urial McCoy Probated Grant Co KY January 26, 1874. In the name of God, Amen. I, Urial McCoy, of the County of Grant and the State of Kentucky, being afflicted in body, but of sound mind and resolution and knowing that it is appointed for all man once to die, do make and constitute this my only last will and testament. First, I will my body to its mother earth and command my soul to God that gave it, and as to this worlds goods with which it has pleased God to bless me. I dispose of them in the following manner, to wit: First, it is my will and desire that all of my just debts including funeral expenses be paid. And as to the remainder of my estate it's my will and desire that it all be sold. My personal property as soon after my death as practicable, and I desire my land to be sold by my executors provided they can sell it for what they think is a fair valuation. I leave that discretionary with them, both as to price and the time to sell - and it is my will and desire that my beloved wife Nancy E. McCoy have one third of the proceeds of my entire estate, both real and personal, and the remainder to be taken care of and put to interest, and at the proper time; that is when they become twenty one years of age to be equally divided among my children - and if my land should be sold I hereby give my executors full power to make and execute a good and sufficient deed of conveyance to the same - and lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint by beloved wife Nancy E. McCoy my lawful Executrix to carry this my last will and testament into effect. Given under my hand and seal this 2d day of January 1874. his Urial X McCoy mark Witnesses present: Henry Childers J.
