McIndoo, James H. Martin and Ruth Martin, Nancy Shearwood, Rebecca McDowel, 
Delilah McDowel and Charlotte McDowel heirs and representatives of Charles 
McDowel deceased of the first part to John McDowel of the County of Shelby and 
State of Kentucky… for and in consideration of one dollar to them in hand paid 
have granted bargained sold and confirmed a certain tract of land containing 
one hundred and fifty acres being the place where Charles McDowel deceased 
formerly lived on Buck Creek and … bounded by the top of Brashears Creek hill 
corner to the heirs of Robert Elliott senior deceased.
