Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Forest McDowell, 77, of New Buckley Road, who 
died Friday at King's Daughters' Hospital following an extended illness, will 
be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lazear Funeral Home by the Rev. Hager 
French and the Rev. J. L. Hollingsworth. Burial will be in the Dixon Cemetery 
at Westwood. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call.

Pallbearers will be Jim Huff, Earl Henderson, Jay C. McDowell, Everett 
Thompson, Eddie Stone, and Mike LeMasters.

This obit probably appeared in what is now called the Ashland Daily Independent 
paper. Dora was the wife of Sylvester McDowell.
