Wright May 7, 1878 Warren County KyArchives Deed Written: May 7, 1878 Recorded: May 7, 1878 Warren County, Kentucky Deed Book 48, pages 407-408 This Indenture made and Entered into this the 7th Day of May 1878 between D. W. Wright party of the first part and W. R. McGinnis & Emily C. McGinnis parties of the second part Witnesseth whereas said Emily C. McGinnis and her husband W. R. McGinnis have heretofore conveyed unto D. W. Wright a certain tract of land Now therefore D. W. Wright in Consideration of the sum of one dollar and other good & valuable Considerations has this Day sold and Conveyed unto said W. R. McGinnis and his wife Emily C. McGinnis a tract of land located in Warren County on the north side of Barren River said to contain forty four acres, being the same land heretofore Conveyed to Emily C. McGinnis by M. B. Fleenor and her husband Rufus Flenor the Deed for same being recorded in Deed Book No. 46 page 615 of the records of the office of the clerk of the Warren County Court to which Deed reference is made for a more particular Description of said forty four acres. To have and to hold said Land unto said W. R. McGinnis and Emily C. McGinnis under the limitations set out in the Deed to Emily C. McGinnis as to the life Estate of her father and with this further limitation. Said Emily C. McGinnis During her natural life shall be entitled to the use, occupancy & rents of said land and at her Death to descend to her lawful bodily heirs born to her During her marriage with W. R. McGinnis but in case she may die without bodily heirs as aforesaid then said W. R. McGinnis to have & to hold said land in fee simple. To have & to hold said land to said W. R. & Emily C. McGinnis under the restrictions as above set forth without any warranty. D. W. Wright State of Kentucky Warren County Sct. I Ludlow L. Cooke clerk of the County Court of said County & State Do certify that the foregoing Deed from D. W. Wright to W. R. McGinnis and his wife Emily C. McGinnis was this Day produced to me in my office and acknowledged by D. W. Wright to be his act and Deed whereupon I have recorded same and this certificate in my office.
