Deed Book 11, page 151

For and in consideration of the sum of $75.00 in hand paid by S. S. Caldwell, 
the receipt of which is acknowledged We Jas. McGinnis and Hannah McGinnis his 
wife of Boone County Indiana have this day bargained and sold unto S. S. 
Caldwell and his heirs and assigns forever the following land in Boyle County 
Ky being the interest of the said Jas. McGinnis in the dower land of his Mother 
and all of his interest in his Sister Martha McGinnis dec'd also the interest 
of the said Jas. and Wm. H. McGinnis in dec'd Sister Mary's interest in the 
Mothers dower land this conveyance conveys all of the interest of the said Jas. 
McGinnis in his fathers tracts of land including Knob. in Boyle County to have 
and hold the same unto the said Caldwell free from the claims of all persons.  
Given under my hand this 14th day of August 1869.

I Jon'a. B. Nichols Clerk of the Boyle County Court do certify the foregoing 
Deed duly stamped as required by act of Congress was this day acknowledged by 
Jas. T. Ginnis to be his act and deed, and ordered to be recorded by S. S. 
Caldwell, which is now done.
