Whereas heretofore on the 10 day of March 1874 B. F. Lewis and his wife Elizabeth Lewis made a Conveyance to their Daughters Emily C. & M. B. Lewis of about Eighty nine acres reserving however unto said B. F. Lewis a life Estate in said land and the aforesaid daughters are now desirous of dividing said land the said Emily C. Lewis now McGinnis and her husband W. R. McGinnis have this day Sold and Conveyed unto Medora B. Lewis now Flena wife of Rufus Flena all their right title and interest in every way of the following described portion of the aforesaid Eight nine acres located on the north side of Barren River in Warren County near the L. & N turnpike Beginning at a stone set in the Glasgow road thence S 54-1/4 E 14 poles thence S 63 E 34 poles to Hays Corner a Stone thence with their line S 3-1/2 W 96-1/2 poles to a Stone their Corner and Corner to Mary Whites land thence with her line N 60 W 52 poles to a stone her Corner thence with her line S 20 W 29 poles to a Stone J. W. Lewis corner thence N 60 W 36 poles to a Stone thence N 28 E 116 poles to the Beginning including 44-1/2 acres of land to have & to hold said above described tract of land & all appurtenances thereunto pertaining to Said Medora B. Lewis now Flena with warranty of title by Said Emily C. Lewis (now
McGinnis) and said Emily waives all right to homestead and dower.  In witness of all which the parties have hereunto subscribed their hands & seal this Oct 2nd 1876.  Reference is here made to the Deed of B. F. Lewis & wife to his two daughters recorded in deed book No. 43, page 528.

I Ludlow L. Cooke Clerk of the Warren County Court and State aforesaid do certify that the foregoing Deed from Emily C. McGinnis and her husband W. R. 
McGinnis to Medora B. Flena was this day produced to me in my office and duly acknowledged by Emily C. McGinnis and her husband W. R. McGinnis to be their act and deed whereupon I have recorded same together with this certificate in my office as required by law.  Given under my hand this the 2nd Oct 1876.
