McGinnis November 28 1860 Boyle County KyArchives Deed Written: November 28 1860 Recorded: February 14 1861 Deed Book 7, page 52 This Indenture, Witnesseth, That for and in consideration of the sum of Six Hundred and Fifty Dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, We John C. McGinnis and D. J. McGinnis his wife of Boyle county, State of Kentucky have bargained and sold and do hereby alien and convey to James M. Gray and Thos. H. Gray of Boyle county, State of Kentucky the following described property, to wit: One certain lot, pieces or parcel of land situated lying and being in the Town of Perryville and County of Boyle and State of Kentucky and bounded as follows, Beginning at the intersection of the East street of said Town with the South Street, Thence with South Street N84E about 20 poles to the intersection of a street near William Vannoys house, Thence with said Street N6W 8 poles to the corner to Calverts lot. Thence with Calverts line S84W about 20 poles to the edge of the East Street, Thence with the same S6E 8 poles to the beginning, containing one acre be the same more or less. Together with all its appurtenances, and improvements, To have and to hold to said James M. Gray and Thos. H. Gray and their heirs &c forever. And we, said John C. McGinnis and D. J. McGinnis his wife do hereby covenant and agree with said Jas. M. Gray and Thos. H. Gray for ourselves, our heirs, &c. that we will forever warrant and defend to them and to their heirs, &c. the title to said Land and appurtenances against all claims whatever. Latimer as appears from an endorsement thereon in the hand writing of my said Deputy and in words and figures as follows, to wit: "1860 Nov 28th Acknowledged before me by John C. McGinnis & D. J. McGinnis his wife in due form of law. Att. Jas. F. Zimmerman Clk, By J. B. H. Latimer D.C." And the same with this certificate hath been duly recorded in my office.
