Thos. McComb a tract of land in Mercer County on which land the said John McGinnis now lives his possession of which to come to and be taken by the said Thos. at and after the death of the said John McGinnis & Margaret his wife he the sd. Thos. McComb doth hereby promise and Oblige himself his heirs &c to live with work for take care of and decently Support the sd. John and Margaret during their lives and further the said Thomas McComb for and in consideration of the conveyance of the land aforesaid promises & hereby Obliges himself to pay to Thompson Simpson now bound to Said John McGinnis the Sum of fifty dollars in addition to his freedom dues so soon as he the said Thompson arrives at the age of twenty one years also that he sd. Thomas will pay to Elizabeth Davis a poor girl living with sd. John & Margaret the Sum of Fifty dollars when she arrives at the age of twenty one years or when she shall Marry And the said John McGinnis doth agree and engage to give to said Thomas McComb his Heirs &c all his personal Estate of which he and his wife Margaret dies possessed provided nevertheless that the Same is to be and remain the estate of the sd. John and Margaret during their natural lives and Subject to their use and disposition and only that which shall remain theirs at their death not otherwise disposed of is to be considered as embraced in this clause of this article and further the sd. John agrees to and obliges himself to suffer the said Thomas McCombs wife to have a quiet and peaceable residence and Support on the plantation & in the house of the said John during the said Johns & Margarets life & then to take the intire possession thereof In Testimony whereof the said John McGinnis & Thomas McComb have hereunto Set their hands & Seals this 31st day of December 1818.
