Deed Book 13, page 264

Know all men by these presents that I John Grant of Mercer County do hereby 
release all the right and title which is vested in me by a mortgage from Samuel 
McGinnis to me to one hundred acres Sd. Land being on the East end of the tract 
whereon Said McGinnis now lives which hundred acres of Land is described in a 
deed from Samuel McGinnis Sen'r to Samuel McGinnis Jr. & bearing date the 23d 
day of October 1824 hereby reserving to my self my right to the remainder of 
the tract.  Witness my hand & seal this first day of November 1824.

The foregoing Bond was this day before me in my office acknowledged by John 
Grant a party thereto to be his act and deed whereupon I have made the same of
