Deed

This Indenture made and executed this 1st day of September 1850 between John L. 
Maginness and _______ Maginis his wife of the County Meade and State of 
Kentucky party of the first part and William R. McGinness of the County of 
Boyle and State aforesaid party of the second part.  Witness that Said party of 
the first part for and in Consideration of the Sum of Thirty Seven Dollars paid 
by the said party of the second part to the said party of the first part the 
receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath bargained and Sold and doth hereby 
bargain Sell alien and Convey to the Said party of the second part and his 
heirs and assigns a certain lot of ground in the Town of Perryville County 
Kentucky designated on the plat of Said Town as Lot Number Sixty one (61) with 
all and Singular its appurtenances to said party of the Second part in fee 
simple and said party of the first Covenants and agree with Said party of the 
Second part that he will forever warrant and defend the title to said tract or 
parcel of land to said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns 
against all claims or claimants whatsoever - (Mrs. McGinnis being dead).
In witness whereof said parties of the first part have Set their hands & Seals 
hereto on the day and year first aforesaid.

I William Fairleigh Clerk of the County Court for the County aforesaid do 
certify that on this day the foregoing deed was produdced [sic] to me in my 
office by John L. McGinnis a party thereto and acknowledged by him to be his 
act act and deed (the said McGinnis wife being dead).  Whereupon the same is 
hereby certified to the proper office for record.  Given under my hand in my 
office at Brandenburg this 5th day of March 1851.

I John B. Akin Clerk of the Boyle County Court do certify that this deed of 
Conveyance from John L. McGinnis to Wm. R. McGinnis was this day produced to me 
in my office and ordered to record by said Wm. R. McGinnis.  Whereupon the said 
deed together with the Certificate thereto attached and this certificate hath 
been duly admitted to record in my office.
Given under my hand this 12th day of March 1853.
