McGinnis, Mary Waddle, William Waddle, Margaret Gibson, Lafe Gibson, Susan Marshall, Parker Marshall, Nelson McGinnis, Mat. Jones, Wellington Jones, Matilda Robertson, Dudley Robinson, Ophelia Wayne, Anothny Wayne, Thomas McGinnis, Jordan McGinnis, Lucretia McGinnis, Carry Lee McGinnis, Ambrose McGinnis, Emma S. McGinnis, Martha L. McGinnis, Lennis McGinnis, and Jefferson McGinnis parties to a petition filed in the Boyle Circuit Court on the 21st day of June 1875 by John C. Russel appointed by the Boyle Circuit Court at its March Term 1877, to make said conveyance of the first part, and Andrew Wayne of the County of Boyle and state of Kentucky of the second part. Witnesseth, That the parties of the first part by their Com'r aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty seven hundred and eighty nine dollars 76 cents paid by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged as Com'r aforesaid hath granted, bargained, and sold and by these presents doth hereby grant, bargain, and sell unto him the party of the second part, one certain tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the county of Boyle and state of Kentucky on the waters of Chaplin, and the same which is described in the papers of Jeff. McGinnis Adm'r against Jeff. McGinnis, and described as follows. Beginning at a point in the Perryville and Maxwell Turnpike on the dower line of Emiley J. McGinnis, and running West with her line West to the line of the Chatham land. Thence with said line to the old Maxwell and Perryville Dirt road, thence with said Dirt road to the Perryville and Maxwell Turnpike road, thence with said pike to the beginning, contain ingonehundredandsevenacres.Tohaveandto hold the above tract of land with its appertenances to the party of the second part, and the parties of the first part by John C. Russel as their Com'r aforesaid will warrant the claim of the above land against the claims of themselves only. In testimony whereof, the parties of the first part by their Com'r aforesaid hath hereunto set their lands and seals date above. John C. Russell, as Com'r. Boyle Circuit Court ) S.S. I, J. S. Chrisman Clerk of the Boyle Circuit Court, do certify that this Deed from Jeff. McGinnis Hrs. by Jno. C. Russell Special Com'r of said court to Andrew Wayne was on the 14th day of March 1877 presented in open court by said Com'r and was by him duly acknowledged to be his act and deed. And the said deed having been examined by the court, was approved and confirmed, and endorsed by the Judge, and ordered to be transmitted duly certifed to the Clerk of the Boyle County Court for record, which is now done, accordingly.
